“ The food was really nice! Loved the atmosphere and the vibe. The service was good and everyone was really friendly! ”
“ Great service and great food with a fun artsy vibe. I have enjoyed this place a few times and my husband goes here for work lunches often! ”
“ I must admit in the beginning there was a miscommunication. No one is perfect and when a mistake is made and at least communication is established to try and fix situation. That is the hallmark of a good restaurant. For me a good restaurant is a place that cares about its customers not one that is perfect. They also understood my concern instead of being defensive. That is why I give it 5 stars. Because the people that work there are what makes or breaks a business and they were very family like. ”
“ Bomb. The biscuits and gravy are fire. Thanks scotty for you and your wife having the best place in town for breakfast and lunch. ”
“ Discovered this place on a recent trip and glad we did. We had breakfast--Hot Mess, chorizo omelette were tasty, with good portions. It seems like they will be extending their space soon. The service was great. Karla and Alicia were a delight, funny and friendly. We definitely look forward to coming back. ”
“ My son wanted chicken fried steak and I found Lambert on Yelp. The Cafe was busy on Sunday around 11. We put our names on the list and waited about 30 minutes, but it was worth the wait. Lambert House Cafe is a homey, eclectic cafe with cute decor everywhere. Our waitress was friendly and our food came fast. My egg white omelette was fluffy and filled with spinach, mushrooms and onions. It was served with perfectly cooked crispy hash browns. I subbed my toast for a sourdough pancake. It was tangy, slight chewy and went very well with the syrup. My son loved his chicken fried steak! Great place for brunch. ”
“ I was in the area and found Lambert House Cafe. I dropped in around 9am on a Thursday and they were moderately busy. All tables were taken with a party waiting outside. I signed in as a table for one and waited outside, scrolling through my phone to see what to do in the area. After a few minutes I saw the other waiting party get called in. Another 10 minutes or so, I noticed tables were emptied but I wasn't called in. A couple just arrived and walked in and got seated. I walked in after and was then seated. I ordered the corn beef hash, country potatoes with peppers and onions, eggs, sourdough toast and coffee. It was delicious and cooked well! Just the right amount of chew and a little bit of crunch to the hash and potatoes. The two eggs were perfectly over easy so that I can enjoy the yolks with half of my toast. The other half received a spread of their grape jelly for "dessert ". My cup of coffee never went empty or cold. Great attentive service by Alysia (?)! (That was the cashier name in the bill.) I'll be back when I'm in town again. ”
“ Four words... Sour Dough Pan Cake How have I not known about this before now? Wow...the perfect marriage of pancakey goodness with a serious sour punch that holds up to butter and syrup like a prize fighter in a championship match! Lambert House Cafe serves up some amazing food in a charming space that feels homey and welcoming. The staff is wonderful here, clearly accommodating and suggestive of what are the best items on the menu. Big plus...they serve Bridge Coffee! The two best Yuba City food establishments in one place! ”
